Blue Umbrella
Summary of the Film:
Young Biniya lives a poor lifestyle in a small village in the snowy region of Himachal Pradesh. She entertains various tourists, and, while doing so, trades in her bear-tooth amulet for a blue umbrella., which becomes very popular. A restaurant-owner, Nandkishore Khatri, takes a fancy to this umbrella and attempts several times to buy it off of her - in vain. However, the umbrella does mysteriously disappear one day. The question remains: where did Biniya's umbrella disappear to, and will she ever recover it?
