Summary of the Film:
This film was forced into the underground until it was re-discovered through VHS in the mid-90s, primarily by a group of Mumbai-based independent film-makers and curators and recently through DVD. On its rediscovery the film was describes as ‘Indian Cinema’s Accident’. Its status as the first, and only, Indian film to have a post modern aesthetic, made it qualify for multiple awards, 'suggesting the possibility of an avante-garde'.
